Today i received my parcel from i-herb.com .its a great website for health and beauty products.i was searching for a website which sells real technique's brushes(by the pixiwoo sisters fame) .i came across this website and found it really affordable.so here's what i got....

e.l.f powder brush,real techniques powder brush and real techniques miracle sponge

1st is the e.l.f STUDIO POWDER BRUSH.it was on my wish list for a long time.the body of the brush is sturdy.i don't have any complaints when i first opened the packaging.it didn't have any foul smell.the bristles were intact.its a flat top powder brush but can be used for both liquid or powder applications.

Direction for Use:- Dip the brush into powder and then tap off excess. Start near the hairline and work inward as to not over apply color.

what i liked :- this brush is flat and dense so application is much smoother.i have used my mineral powder foundation with this and it worked amazingly.it just blended smoothly.its great even for cream blushes.One best thing is the bristles/ hair remain shiny no matter how many times I have washed it. Brush is really soft and doesn’t lose its shape after drying.its super affordable for such a quality product

what i disliked:- availability. its not available in india and only on some  few websites.

2nd product i ordered was another powder brush(i love fluffy powder brushes) the REAL TECHNIQUES POWDER BRUSH.the brush has densly packed bristles.perfect for powdering whole face or bronzing.

the bristles are taklon; a synthetic fibre that is far superior to animal hair in makeup brushes.its extremly soft to touch and doesnt irritate the skin or eyes when you just sweep it across your face.i cant complain about this product because i just love it.

product claims:-Evenly apply powders and mineral foundations for smooth, high-definition results,look pixel-perfect even in harsh light

ultra-plush, synthetic bristles are hand-cut and 100% cruelty-free.self-standing for easy storage and extended aluminum handle is light and easy to use...

price:- 9.99 $

The application is really good, it's  light and it allows the product to be build up. I have used it to apply powder  and bronzer as a contour and appreciate the transfer of colour and easy, smooth and brilliant application

what i liked :- the quality is amazing.it didnt shed after washing twice.it doesnt havea foul smell once you open the packaingg ,not pricey.has a flat base so that you make it stand.great for applying translucent powders.

what i disliked :- it doesnt fit in my brush pouch.if you have a small face.the brush will cover the entire face and the applicatin will be only limited for overall powdering and not contouring or bronzing

3rd is an amazing product.the MIRACLE COMPLEXION SPONGE by REAL TECHNIQUES.

SPONGES have evovled in the past years.now you get many types of sponges other then the regular wedge triangular sponges.sponge application is tricky but the end result is always good.i wanted to try a makeup sponge and as i love real techiques i thought i would go for their miracle sponge.i never knew a makeup sponge can give such an airbrush glowy finish to the skin.this orangy sponge is miraculously good.you just simply wet the sponge and wait for it to expand slightly.then squeeze it tightly to remove the excess water and tissue dry it.you want it just damp not wet.then i would apply or dab foundation(cream or liquid) on my face and using the flat side of the sponge i use a dabbing stippling motion.it looks flawless.i was happy with the result because i have acne spots acne on my face and with just one layer of foundation it blended with skin effortlessly. 

WHAT I LIKED:- i am in love with this sponge.its super soft and feels light on the skin.you can use it for foundation ,concelaers,or even powder applications.its multi tasking beauty tool.affordable too

WHAT I DISLIKED:- ummm, actualy nothing

IHA AQUA NEEM TONER

A good skin is very important for any individual.skin care attributes towards good skin with good eating habits.today ill be reviewing a skin care product by IHA.its the IHA AQUA NEEM TONER. Toners are essential in maintaining the Ph level of our skin. LAKME EYECONIC WHITE eyeliner REVIEW

Hello beauties,
i was in search of a white eyeliner.the nyx jumbo pencil is too jumbo for my liking.so i grabbed the LAKME EYECONIC IN WHITE eyeliner. as the packaging says.its no smudge and waterproof. it really doesn't smudge a lot and indeed it is waterproof :-) best way to remove it is with cleansing milk or makeup remover. happy with the result and the colour pay off . below is the image in which you can create and you can try with this simple looking white eyeliner. 

did smudge after rubbing a lot :-) 

• WHAT I LIKED : the packaging is cute and decent looking.the pigmentation of the product is the most loved.can work as an white eyeshadow base to intensify bright eyeshadows.is very affordable
• WHAT I DISLIKED : umm nothing ;-)
• PRICE : it retails at 250/-rs .and is available at many beauty counters.
•  CONCLUSION : will i repurchase it again ? yes! i loved it

l'OREAL PARIS kajal magique REVIEW

Hello beauties, 

The much talked about kajal is here.the L'OREAL PARIS kajal magique.. as the packaging says its waterproof and 12 hour smudge proof..the pigmentation is not such a strong black eyeliner.had to swipe 2-3 times and yet it was not the darkest dark.,well its true that it didn't smudge after application but yes it did fade away after 2 hours .had to reapply.  it is water proof.it doesnt even come off if we try to rub it off.a makeup remover is must(if you dont want to irritate the eyes). the packaging is nice and sturdy.loved the colour combination dark pink and black..i didn't find it creamy.maybe i got a faulty one.but i have warmed it up a bit by the blow drier and it worked fine.

it didnt smudge after rubbing it :-)

• WHAT I LIKED : the packaging is good.staying power is also fair and smudge proof and affordable.if you dont want a harsh black kohl eye then this perfect for you.
• WHAT I DISLIKED : not so creamy.its not pigmented as how an eye liner kajal should be.if you want a deep black kohl eye this one might not work for you. 
• PRICE : it retails for 245/-rs and is available at many beauty counters.
• CONCLUSION :will i repurchase it again.? umm, no . i would rather try something else.

a mini recent haul

 1st stop is the colossal kajal by MAYBELLINE.its a great product and the black colour intensity is just great.the product claims it is  smudge resistant but i dont really agree to it because it did smudge out after 15 minutes.but the colour pay off is good.i would recommend it because its from maybelline so its got a pretty good goodwill to them.
  ** i liked-- the packaging is petite so it easily makes place in any handbag .it is a dark black colour and does look pretty in your eyes.even if you want to tightline your eyes without lining your lower waterline,its definately good because it does not transfer to your lower waterline unless u put it.
   **i disliked--that its staying power sucks and does not live upto its claims mentioned in the package.
**price:-150 rs 
  **CONCLUSION:- i will definately buy this product because i dont like smudge resisitant kajals.though this packagaing clearly states its smudge-resisitant :-P

2nd is the mascaras that i purchased.both are decent looking and very good mascaras..the AVON SUPER EXTEND MASCARA does justice to its name.it does lengthens your eyelashes to a freakingly long length... :-))it really does look like you have falsies on.so thats like an add-on.(Visibly lengthens lashes up to 55%.* Unique super-smooth, super-separating molded brush works with our unique super-stretch formula to coax and comb every lash up, out and away.with a sleek, shiny, super-sexy finish. Waterproof formula is super-easy to remove) as written in the avon website...well,,
i liked-  the sleek looking tube.after applying it does look as if i have got false 
                          eyelashes.it really elongates the lashes very well.it is water proof so that means  
                          you can even cry when its on ;p ..it comes off only after applying some lotion or 
                          some eye makeup remover and not with water.
i disliked--that its a water -proof mascara(i dont like water resistant products coz they 
                                    are hard to remove). 

      ** WILL I REPURCHASE IT AGAIN--I prefer voluminizing over           
                               lengthening mascaras




  3rd,is the REVLON WATER TIGHT mascara .its kind of an old product but i really loved it and re-purchased it again.it's not a tough water resistant product and does come out easily when removed. so to make this review short and sweet ,
    i liked--the voluminizing effect of this mascara.it also separates each lash and coats                                   it evenly.doesn't have a dirty kinda smell either
     i disliked--acutally nothing
                         
               **  WILL I RE-PURCHASE IT AGAIN --no :-p bought it

SHEER COVER MAKEUP kit with pictures and my take on this kit

sheer cover mineral makeup starters kit

Hey there beauties,this is my first blog so please bare with me for the way I post this or the short forms of any words because I am still learning about all this blog thingy…so well this post is about the sheer cover mineral makeup starters kit ..i purchased it a month back and was using it since then(not every day but just while experimenting with makeup)..i got it in medium shade..it is not exactly close to my skin clor but very near…so here is the kit (i put some of my regular makeup brushes in the empty space given for extra brushes)...

conditioning cleanser and nourishing moisturiser   

mineral foundation in "buff"

extra lenght mascara(does justice to its name)

mineral foundation in "latte"

compact concealer with xtra space in the bottom for the powder foundation on the go

                                 the lip to lid bronzer supplies you with six days of color and six ways to wear them.you can apply it on your forehaed as a highlight or your cheeks for some dash of glowy cheeks or even on your lips to add up as a highlighting finishing touch to your gloss :-) .....

This mini palette contains lip gloss shades which you can apply with the help of a lip brush..plus you get additional eyeliner and a silverish highlighter too ...    

                                                                                           
     now for the fun part..what to do with all these products....ummm lets see

• 1st The rounded design of the powder brush is ideal for application of the powder foundation for a seamless and natural look.you simply have to load it with the powder which is taken on the lid and swirl it in so that all the powder merges into the brush and when applied on to the face it gives a flawless complexion..
• 2nd the contour brush helps in contouring the face and it also helps to scult the nose or cheek areas
•  3rd the synthetic concealer brush is ideal for concealing all the flaws on your face like redness,rosacea or acne marks etc
• 4th the extra lenght mascara really coats each lash and lenghtens it as the name says,but the most interesting factor of this mascara is that it REALLY NOURISHES THE LASHES AND STRENGTENS IT..its a great products of this lot.its sad that they dont sell it individually..that is something new what i saw and experienced in a mascara.this is the best mascara i've ever used.you can easily remove it from your lashes by gently massaging eye makeup remover or even any mild skin lotion on it..

• 5th the MINERAL FOUNDATION-it has the formulation that acts as sun protection, anti-aging protection, foundation, and finishing powder. i hope i covered the products from the sheer cover kit.  5% of the info that i wrote was from the sheer cover website and all the rest was my personal and my friends(whom i try sheer cover on) experiences....

THE ONLY THING THAT MIGHT BOTHER ANYONE WILL BE THE THE COLOR RANGE .YOU MIGHT NOT GET EXACT SAME COLOR TONE KIT BUT YES IT WILL BE VERY CLOSE TO YOUR SKIN TONE FOR SURE
